Indonesia is the one country that located in Southeast Asia. We can also called Indonesia with ‘Nusantara’. Because Indonesia is the largest country in the world. Indonesia has 17.508 Islands. Not only that, Indonesia also has the largest Islands in the world. There are Borneo, Sumatra Island, and New Guinea. So, Indonesia has the variety of ethnics, regional languages, and also difference of religions. But it doesn’t make Indonesia people scattered. It is exactly make indonesia people respect to each other, and make a life peaceful. This is the reason why Indonesia has the quotes “Unity in Diversity”.
We proud of Indonesia. Because Indonesia have many advantages. These are the three things why I proud to be Indonesian. First, Natural resources of Indonesia. Indonesia has many natural resources. For example, Indonesia is the largest producer of natural liquid gas and tin in the world. Indonesia also the highest rank for the agriculture products. There are cloves, palm oil and plywood. Not only that, Indonesia has the species of plants that not owned by the other country. These are orchid flowers and raflesia arnoldi. Second, The differences of Indonesian Ethnic. Indonesia is a country that have the largest amount of ethnic in the world. There are more than 300 ethnic groups. For example, the javanese, sundanese, malays, and the other. This is the reson why Indonesia has a variety of local languanges. It is about 713 local languages or dialects. After that, each area has regional clothes and regional songs. This is the differences part of each area. Third, Cultural haritage of Indonesia. Indonesia has many cultural haritage. For example, the borobudur temple, Prambanan temple, Mendut temple, and many more. We can visit this temples whenever we want. Indonesia also has Museums. These Museums save many history of our history country. Each area has difference history. Fourth, Indonesia has many kinds of traditional food. For example, Yogyakarta has gudeg as the traditional food. And of course each area has different traditional foods.
Let me reiterate if Indonesia has many advantages. We should preserve our country with the effort that we begin from now. This is the reason I proud to be Indonesian.
